Have you ever gone somewhere with a giant squad? There’s something about rolling with a mob-sized friend group that makes you feel invincible. Going to the movies? You own that place. Laser tag? You’re untouchable. Chipotle? I’ll have…ALL your guac.

To go even further, when you roll with the right people, everything becomes 100x better. Jokes are funnier, stories are crazier, and whatever your goal is becomes easier. If we’re being honest, sometimes we even “forget” to invite certain friends to things because we know they might ruin the vibe (too real?). But whatever the mission is, you want a dream team that knows what they’re doing, and has fun doing it.

We all have a mission, you can even call it a purpose, and the truth is: Your mission requires the right squad. Your squad will determine your destiny. It’s true, they will either keep you on mission or knock you off it. The people you surround yourself with will dictate where you end up. So, in order for you to grow into the person God created you to be and then accomplish everything He’s called you to do, you’re gonna need the right squad.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

“You WILL receive power…” When Jesus made this statement, it carried the same Spirit and authority that ushered light into the universe. The God-given power we have as Christians is not up for question, but what we DO with that power is. The differentiating factor between someone who is and is not on Mission Unstoppable lies upon both the individual’s mindset and the inevitable actions that flow from it.

Revival is serious. In a world that desperately needs answers, it’s not a word to be thrown around. It’s not a concept to be taken lightly. When God hears prayers for revival, He listens. When thousands of believers come together and cry out for revival, it demands a response. This year, God responded to the cry.

Awakening Conference 2016 was less of a conference and more of an Awakening. We saw hundreds of salvations, heard thousands of worshippers, and millions were reached. But now that conference is over, what do we do? What do the repercussions of revival look like? What does it mean to be in a new era?

2. THE OPENERS
Have you ever experienced the openers at Awakening Conference? Imagine that 10 times over, in an arena of thousands. You haven’t even begun to imagine how mind-blowingly awesome this is going to be.

3. THE WORSHIP
The worship that you’ll experience at conference will blow the roof off of the arena and your life. Singing along to Awakening Worship or Elevation Worship in your car (admit it, we all know you blast it and sing at the top of your lungs when you’re driving alone) is awesome, but worshiping God with thousands of people in an atmosphere of revival is probably unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. You will never be the same again.

1. We get loud

Every month we come together at Awakening to celebrate all that Jesus has done for us, and it gets loud… VERY LOUD. We simply can’t help but get excited about the things of God.

Recently in an article entitled “These are the Most Godless Cities in America” Time Magazine stated “America, you may have a new Sodom and Gomorrah.The two least “Bible-minded” cities in the United States are the adjacent metros of Providence, R.I., and New Bedford, Mass.” This isn’t news to the New England church, we’ve been labeled the frozen chosen, and the preachers graveyard for decades. We’ve heard that the church in this region is a “sleeping giant”, that its hard ground, and bad soil. I remember one famous preacher saying that the best view he had of Boston was in his rearview mirror. Seeing all this one might draw the conclusion that the New England church has been defeated, that its dry bones have become too scattered, and that its body has breathed its last breath. But those who are listening can hear the voice of the Lord asking “Can these dry bones live again?”

This year we are making a statement. We’re not backing down, we’re doubling down: Awakening in the Northeast. We know – it sounds crazy, almost impossible, but faith doesn’t back down, it steps up. It’d be easy to stay in our church & sell out a month early, but we’re going to an arena and believing for God to fill it.
